“Some people think that you need to be rich to give back, but knowledge is just as valuable as money.
“We believe sanitary pads should be free. After all, no woman chooses to have a menstrual cycle. There are many girls in Uganda and other countries who can’t afford pads and are forced to use tissues or rags instead. This can breed bacteria and cause many harmful health issues.”
